All paint sales are final. Once you have placed an
order, it cannot be cancelled for ANY reason.
Our paint techs often work seven days a week and can begin working on your order
immediately. Even if it's 3AM on Sunday morning, don't assume our techs
are not working! Customers who order and then cancel will be charged the full price of the custom made paint ordered.
We do NOT GUARANTEE your vehicle will be improved by using our touch up paint! Our advice to you is to hire professionals who have
years of experience in paint and body work. Your vehicle could end up looking worse due to poor painting preparation, poor technique,
incorrect color match, etc. PaintScratch ONLY sells the paint and will not be responsible for how you apply the paint. It is
up to you to learn how to apply the paint properly to improve the appearance of your vehicle.
Shipping Times. Orders are normally shipped within five business days but during our busy season (Spring and Summer), up to ten business days. Orders are
processed in the order they are received.
We do not guarantee your paint will match your vehicle. We only guarantee the paint we mix will match our factory paint chip for
your vehicle. Usually the factory paint chip will match your original color but not always.
There are no refunds for the custom paint portion of your order
We will only issue refunds if we cannot match our factory paint chip or
there is no formula to make your paint.
Free Shipping and Returns
If you return the non-custom items from an order which originally had free shipping and now the order total has dropped below $149,00 due to the returned items, you will be charged our normal shipping fees which will be deducted from your refund.
Please verify the paint code
on the vehicle for the paint you have ordered. Do not order based on the
paint name alone or color samples shown on our website! Many of the colors shown are just educated guesses.
Upon receipt of the paint, you must check the color match BEFORE
applying it to your vehicle.
We will not remix paint on pre 1986 vehicle colors even if the color does not match. There are no refunds. We will try
our best to mix the paint, but due to changing toners and age, we recommend custom matching. We recommend ordering the smallest size to check the color match.
Wheel and Interior colors are nearly impossible to find color codes for, we will not remix the paint or offer refunds for wheel and interior paint even if they do not match. Order the smallest amount possible on your first order.
We will not remix paint for the following Makes even if the paint does not match. We do not have color chips to check our formula. There are no refunds.

Ducati, Edsel, Ferrari, Fiat, Fleet, Fleetwood, Forest-River, Fountain, Freightliner, Fujidesign, Harley-Davidson,
Honda-Motorcycle, Itasca, Lamborghini, Lancia, Lotus, Lund, Maserati, MG, Morgan, Newmar, Packard,
Pantera, Peugeot, RAL, Renault, Rolls-Royce, Rover-Sterling, Triumph, Winnebago, Yamaha.
We recommend ordering the smallest size to check the color match.
Damaged or missing items will be replaced at no charge.
If your paint is only available in Single Stage,
we will send you the Single Stage paint (it may be either a
lacquer or enamel formula) and credit back the clearcoat.
We only guarantee the paint will match the original factory chip. All colors,
particularly gold and red, can fade over time, even if the vehicle has
been stored in a garage since new! Often the paint we send you will look
somewhat darker, especially when the vehicle is over five years old.
Metallic and
tricoat paints can be difficult to match and should be blended
into adjacent panels. If you are ordering a tricoat paint,
you MUST read about tricoats before ordering!
VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
We ask for the VIN to help us match your paint. However, the VIN does not
give us your color code! It only gives us any paint formula variance in an existing color code. Make sure you have found the color code on your vehicle.
Replacement Paint due to Customer Error
If you did not send us your VIN (1995 on up), made a mistake
on the order form, chose the wrong color, didn't verify your color code
or just ordered the wrong paint, you will have to place a new order for the correct paint. We
cannot exchange the paint. There are no refunds.
International orders are subject to customs duty.
We only accept returns for color match and order problems for
75 days from the shipping date of your order. Please check the color match and make sure your order is complete. All sales are FINAL after
75 days.
Automotive paint is very hazardous. Keep away from children. Do not use any of
the products until you have read and understand the product directions and warnings. We recommend rubber gloves, chemical respirator, safety goggles and work
in a well ventilated area. Please store the materials in a safe place.
Appropriate
personal protection including safety goggles, chemical respirator
and gloves should be worn when handling paint.
Our paint store has been in business for over 50 years so every effort will be made to ensure
